Re: Marham
All three squadrons are home and flying, but it's still a little hit a miss especially with uncertainty over Syria. Nothing flew on Tuesday from memory, quite a few were up yesterday until early evening.

Re: Marham
Have a few days off next week, looking to pop up to East Anglia on Tuesday.
Not been to Marham before, any tips/advice? Much happening?

Re: Marham
Have a back up plan like Lakenheath. Unless plans have changed, I don't think a full squadron from any of the home squadrons will be there today there can't have been more than a handful of movements.

Re: Marham
Thanks, I thought that may be the case.
Will probably spend the day in Johns Field then.

Re: Marham
IX(B) and 12(B) have been fairly active recently, 12(B) are working up for Op Shader duties, IX(B) are back post leave so looks like they are catching up on currency work. 31 are currently out in Cyprus but have some crews still at home. You should have a good day.
Mark 'Blackcat' on here was at Marham yesterday and the RAF police were taking names and details. So they have stepped up a presence around the base. Guess it could be linked to the action over Iraq. They didn't warn him off or ask him to move, in fact they welcomed him being there as he could spot anything out of the ordinary.

That's great, thanks. Am I right in saying Thursday is the day to avoid? Or am I getting confused
Re: Marham
Hi mate
Thursday's is a good day to go, just when you asked last year Iraq and Syria was kicking off so flying because very infrequent. Friday's can be a bit slow but it's POETS day after all
