Mildenhall / Lakenheath tomorrow...

Post by Talldan76 »

Thinking of taking a trip there tomorrow, does anyone know if there's anything due in at all?

That's if the weather plays ball!!

Cheers

I'm about 20 miles away from the 'hall - near BSE - and no sign of rain at all yet. Just cloud...

Took a risk and made the trip up to Mildenhall... Very quiet at the moment, with just the one KC-135 landing literally just as I got here...

Fingers crossed there will be more before I need to leave!!

Nearly had the Idaho A-10s diverting into Lakenheath but they chose to return to Spang

Well , there have been plenty of REACH around today , together with quite a few SAM flights ( or weren't any of them bound for Mildenhall ?? ) , not to mention the ubiquitous Lakenheath F-15s.
Still , you could have gone to Fairford for the U-2s instead.
