Marrakech Morocco 23-26th April

Post by RichPittman »

Seems strange no one has mentioned this event?
Especially as I know of a number of People attending and a fair few organised tours intending to visit.
Not sure now but it could even be done on a Day trip.
This is how the Morocco participants line up at present.

Looked like one more SA342 and AB206 on the flight line and could see some T34s and T37s when I landed. Would appreciate any info on the flying aircraft not positively identified.

A Spanish C295 was support for the Casa 101 display team, I did not read it, but showed as T.21-10 on sbs

CN235 CN-AMD arrived and departed and used hex 020060

The airport was shut for a while due to storms, and there were a few biz jets still to be moved into static, will list those tomorrow and any other additions.

Back from Marrakech and spent the last week processing my images. Really hard out there as sun is very harsh, directly above you for most of the day and temperatures in the 40s! Hard work with the lighting conditions as is born out by the other images I have seen posted on the web. Pleased with mine though and was good to meet and have a few beers with Bram, Pete, "Johnny", Mark, Frank and Alan Warnes out there.

Just seen a photo in SA Flyer of the Moroccan C130 trailing hoses with a F5, F16 and Mirage behind. Brilliant and considering Ryanair fly there and it really is 'just past Spain' far more should visit!!!
