FAA says Collings Foundation B-17G had safety issues

Reading the article and the FAA conclusions makes one wonder what was going through the minds of the people at the Collings Foundation and how they could possibly risk people's lives by such blatant ignoring of proper safety and operational procedures. The lawyers for those that died or were injured are going to totally have a field day with this.

Also makes you wonder about the safety procedures of other groups who operate vintage aircraft and sell rides on them. This is going to make it even more difficult for those groups who do things right.

Yes, let's blame the FAA, in much the same way that the police are responsible for crime..
