I'm not sure how many constitute a mob, but yes!

I reckon it's only fair to say well done to Howard and the team, despite covid and "interesting" weather they successfully revived the aerojumble. It was great to catch up with so many people and do some good old fashioned haggling once again.

Thank you for your kind words, which I will share with everyone at the museum who helped to pull it all together - as ever there were a few minor challenges to manage during the event and sorry that I didn't get a chance for a proper chat. We were lucky that the serious downpour held off for as long as it did, so someone was looking out for us!

Our current plan is to do an event review, before hopefully going with another Outdoor Aeroboot alongside Cockpit-Fest 21 in 28 to 30 August, 2021.

Favourite comment was asking why we couldn't move all of the aircraft outside and move all of the stall inside! I tried to be patient in trying to explain that the Rule of Six still applied for indoor scenarios for the current Step 3 Covid Regulations; sadly the enquirer didn't think such rules applied to them and Aeroboot sales!!

To be fair, I can see how the outdoor format has its advantages in 'normal' times even. Still, you made it work and that's what is important. This event was one of my 'yardsticks' back to normality.
But you might have organised something about the weather...

You southerners can't expect us Yorkshire folk to sort everything for you, surely?! :joy:

Thanks for the further feedback, apologies for the light shower - I was inside at the time and your Wessex photo captures a moment that I had missed; surprised that Lake Vulcan didn't form!!

Complete agree, was a great day out, well spaced and some interesting items for sale as well - very lucky with the morning weather too - look forward to the next one - the Aeroboot is a 'milestone' throughout my year which has scrambled my bonce somewhat as it thinks we are in April!

Thanks for the feedback TT it's nice to be discussing positive feedback and more upbeat aspects of our current situation as we try to get back to normal in a Covid-Secure manner.

I've heard some good feedback about your sale a few weeks ago, and I trust that you've had a few visitors back since then as well.

We're starting to digest the Step 4 Covid announcements from yesterday & while we wait for the final Official Guidelines we're seeking some feedback on our Twitter timeline about the emotive topic of masks; please feel free to vote on that poll!

After consultation with our staff, museum members & some members of the public the museum trustees have decided to still encourage social distancing & other Covid-19 mitigation measures. These measures are outlined here http://www.newarkairmuseum.org/Visiting_In_Summer_2021

They are in line with requests from the government & good practice guidelines issued by various Visitor Attraction bodies.
