There’s a surprise! The aerobatic team based at Radom appearing at…Radom!

This one is on my list for next year, probably a last chance to see a number of Russian types.

Translated from Polska Zbrojna website: I am sure our Polish members of the forum can make any corrections or confirm its validity - there's also pictures of the Frecce Tricolori although no specific mention

Aerobatic Team Orlik, Black Hawks, Spartans, Cass, Hercules, as well as KC130 and AWACS - on the last weekend of August next year, the sky over Radom will be filled with planes, helicopters and unmanned aerial vehicles. For aviation enthusiasts, we suggest that they add to their calendar today: August 26 and 27 - Air Show in Radom!

So far, nine countries have confirmed their presence at the International Air Show Air Show Radom 2023. – On the last weekend of August we will see the Croatian Air Force with OH-58 Kiowa and UH-60 Black Hawk helicopters. Pilots from Lithuania will also be present, presenting the C-27J Spartan and AS365N3+ Dauphin. Slovakia, on the other hand, will show its C-27 Spartan and L-39 Albatros - says Lieutenant Colonel Magdalena Busz from the press office of the General Command of the Armed Forces. In addition to them, pilots from Denmark, France, the Czech Republic, South Korea, Switzerland and Great Britain will take part in the show. However, the composition of the aviation teams from these countries is still unknown.

Lieutenant Colonel Magdalena Busz ensures that there will be plenty of attractions during the shows. – The KC-130 aircraft, i.e. an air tanker from the Illinois National Guard, will certainly be an interesting curiosity. We are very much counting on the presence of the AWACS early warning aircraft at the Radom airport - says the officer. Polish aircraft will also be present at the show. Certainly, the Orlik Aerobatic Team from the 42nd Training Aviation Base will perform in front of the audience. In addition, you will be able to see Mi-2 and W-3 Sokół, Mi-8 and Mi-24 helicopters as well as M-28 Bryza, C-295M CASA and C-130 Hercules aircraft. There will also be tactical aviation: Su-22, MiG-29 and F-16. Education will be represented by M-346 Bielik. - We will also show our SW-4 Puszczyk, Mi-14 helicopters, W-3 SAR, unmanned aerial vehicles and the Gulfstream G-550 transport aircraft - announces Lt. Col. Busz. You will also be able to see the helicopters of the GROM Military Unit - UH-60 Black Hawk and SH-2G. - Consultations regarding the performances of civilian bands are still underway - informs Lieutenant Colonel Magdalena Busz.

There will be a standard daylight show both on Saturday and Sunday with the same or almost the same participants both days. In addition, on Saturday evening there will be a night show of aircraft performing with night pyrotechnics.

Long story "short":
Croatia, Lithuania, Slovakia, USAF, NATO - all static.
Czeck - in best case Gripen display
Denmark - in best case F-16 or some static
France - in best case Rafale display
UK - probably some static, maybe Typhoon solo
South Korea - for sure Black Eagles team.

Most important question is - will we see MiG-29 solo display and some low level flying Su-22?
I don't know is anyone interested anymore in F-16s, Gripens, Rafale, Typhoon. Those planes with F-35 will be everything we will see at European airshows in next 25 years.

Good list so far I think. Black Eagles will be great. With the supposed delivery of the first Polish FA-50 in the summer I don't know if there's any likelihood they might bring an airframe or two with them?

I'm certainly more interested in them than F-35s. Maybe less so the F-16s perhaps, but still, as you say, anything to break up the monotony. Hopefully they'll put on some Soviet jets, I think most people will be planning on it.

Fingers crossed too for some civilian-operated warbirds like the MiG-51s, Iskra and Bies.

I think the organizers will try and make it the swansong for Migs and SU-22s (hopefully!)- unless something takes them out of the air early.

It is an interesting situation being so close to the border and I imagine the Poles will be keen to show off NATO support.
I also suspect that there maybe flybys from aircraft on policing missions - who knows what US fighters will be in Europe at the time - or if their will be bombers at Fairford.
maybe E-3 or tankers or transports at the end of their missions might say hello at Radom- who knows? there is a lot of aircraft in Polish airspace these days- hopefully they can tap into some of it.

I think the RAF should send the BBMF- Spitfire and Hurricane in Polish skies has more meaning than modern equipment.
Who knows with the French - if they will have a 2 ship fast jet team this year? - probably more chance of seeing PDF here than Red Arrows.

Wonder if the Greeks might rock up - the Poles send a fair amount to support Athens.

Pakistan?
