Australian C-17A Globemaster III - This Is A Very Rare Visitor In Europe

Post by redskin301 »

It was already a long time ago that a Royal Australian Air Force C-17A Globemaster III has visited Eindhoven. The last time was in 2014 when these planes visited Eindhoven multiple times after the MH17 disaster when it was shot down over Ukraine. The C-17 in this video came over from Prestwick Airport in the United Kingdom after it came over from Australia. After dropping off some cargo in Eindhoven the plane departed to Poland to deliver support goods for the Ukraine. The plane was parked at Mil Eat with its nose facing the location where many spotters will gather. this was a perfect spot to catch this large bird. The plane in question, the A41-207, is the C-17 off the RAAF carrying the big black horse of the 36 Squadron on its tail. It is very rare to see an C-17 of the RAAF in Europe; it was already too long ago that we saw one of these "Kangaroos" here in the Netherlands. For us as spotters a very welcome quest at Eindhoven; enjoy the film!!!

Kind regards,

Alex van Noye
