Malta '08

Post by absolutangel »

Right, this is the first time I've posted pics on here and they are from the first set of shots I've taken of planes with my new camera, so please be gentle with me (although of course constructive criticism is welcome) POD has been great, helping me edit and sort the rubbish from the not so rubbish. Here are some taken at Luqa during arrivals on Fri 26th Sept.

You had some cracking light in Malta to take these. Some really nice shots absolutangel.
I particularly like shot 2, the King Air shot and the last 2 of the Harrier. Certainly looks cosy in the Harrier intake!

Well done.

Well done Abs...

Your first attempt at taking pics with a DSLR and your first attempt at aviation photography! All sharp and all well lit!

Begs the question why we have to suffer so much dross on the forum!!! :handbag:

This is enough to make a bloke sick - a girl that can use a camera.

To compound matters, she can use it better than a lot of blokes on this forum who just think they can. :ninja:

I just can't imagine how one of the Reds got a SpongeBob Beanie Baby.....

Really good shots Abs, every one thought out and worthy of inclusion. It just shows what a little time, understanding and effort can bring.

Catch you soon

Thanks for compliments guys, much appreciated - there are so many great shots posted on this site it's a bit intimidating as someone who's new to it all. When I've finished working my way through the display shots I might add a few more of the sun at a display (and I think having gone through RIAT and Culdrose this year I deserved a few rays)
