Great stuff - but can you help with my rusty recognition skills - what type of choppers in pics 3 & 4 & what are the yellow trainers in pic 9?

Pic 3 is the RNZAF's latest aircraft, the NH90.
Pic 4 is the RNZN's SH 2G Seasprit
Pic 9 is the RNZAF's CT4 basic flying trainer

Fabulous post - lovely sharp images. The Mustang is a peach as is the special paint work on the Aussie Hornet.

Great work

Thanks for the comments ... it's amazing how rusty you get over the winter. One of the highlights for me was Air New Zealand's 777-300 ER (ZK-OKQ) which was flown into Ohakea for the day.

Excellent set of what looks like a cracking show, loving the choppers  Now come on RNZAF/RAAF it's your  Queen's Jubillee this year so pack those cute little Airtrainers in a C-17 and bring 'em over for RIAT. Simples.
That poor Strikemaster - sad to see that silly painting of once decent aeroplanes isn't just a European thing...

Fabulous shots and some interesting kit although the New Zealand grey is certainly up there in the ranks of dullest. Airtrainers are fab and where is that 757 pitching up when you need to see it
