My RIAT 2012 thread *Final Update*

Post by Lloyd H »

Spent 3 excellent days down at Rhymes with Ben, Chappers, Fletch, Josh, Morley, Rob, Tal & Wayne. Had an absolute right laugh, I'm glad I decided to ignore the weather forecast and just go as apart from Friday (not that I can remember much from Friday  ) the weather on the whole was okay with Sunday being the best. Thanks for the company chaps

I'm going to update the thread as I go along instead of dumping them all in at once

Just the one for now, the B-2 coming into land shot from Rhymes.

That's very very nice. How did you get that (camera settings I mean?)?

If you click on the photo, it'll take you through to the Flickr page for it, then click on the words "Nikon D300S" in the top right to get all the exif data.

Terrific photo Lloyd, even better given the conditions. Best shot of the B-2 I've seen from this show so far.

Fantastic shot! It is so crisp in that weather, but begs a question - just what are those batwings sticking up above the enging housing doing? Surely they are way too small to be of any braking assistance? Or are they to break up the airflow over the wings? Im sure one of you experts out there knows...... :worship:

Thanks guys! Yes it was handheld at 1/60th, only managed to get two sharp shots but judging by the response to the picture it seems like I made the right decision!

Couple more photos added.
