Extracts of Radom

Post by Ian A.S. »

Certainly one of the best ever Airshows organised at Radom this year by the Polish Air Force.. Flying morning until literally dusk with tickets at £10. Delayed thanks for the good company including Ukarian Flybynight.
A few examples of participants and statics.

Ukranian Su.27 - they brought a single and a twin stick - the latter invaluable as the Flanker was only approved for low level display on condition the back seater called all the critical display altitudes.

Some of the visiting/display F.16`S - starting with this years Dutch display pilot an ever ebullient "Stitch"

Image

"Stitch`s" team coach Tom" Bear" Kuiper - as shown on the credit markings, this is the aircraft which scored a Mig.29 kill in March 1999 during the Serbian conflict.

The Greek "Team Zeus" Block 52 F.16

Belgian A.F`s F.16

Nice set, a bit disappointed that I did'nt see the dutch F-16 with the kill marking... Was it just used as a spare?

Agg, the second Dutch F.16 was, as usual brought as a display spare and also the mount of coach "Bear" - the shot was taken as the pair crossed in front of the photo section upon arrival. You no doubt caught another Dutch special tail F.16 in static.

Lets hope she doesn't try and reverse park that Flanker.
