I find this discussion of the end results of the photos to be really strange and unnecessary. Take the end result for what they are. You may just want to see out of the camera shots or you may want the 'Aviation Art' effect that we see from sfw.
To comment and judge the photos on the merits of one approach against the other is wrong. They are excellent examples of a particular genre of photography and the photos must have been good out of the camera in the first place. in the end 'you can't polish a turd'.

Stunning work !! For me the real value here is showing me what is achievable and what I need to do to up my game. Thanks for posting and keep posting !!
