Shame about the slow start both days due to the weather and Saturday was a bit disjointed with a few breaks. Sunday once it got going seemed to flow a lot better. An enjoyable trip all the same - managed to catch the last post ceremony at the Menin gate on the way and returned with a boot full of Belgian Beer courtesy of Noel Cuvilier's Beer shop near Poperinge!
Anyway on with the pics - c and c welcome.

Can't believe you haven't had any comments......ah well.
An exceptional set of photos, haven't got a favorite....all good in my book.
Looks like a worthwhile trip and you got a great vantage point for photography.
Well Done

Thanks Paul. Good to know at least someone liked them!
A slight bank towards the back of the crowd line was very useful on the Sunday although the locals still insisted in standing as close as possible in front of us despite the extra space

Great set, love the light on the last one...!
If you don't mind me asking, how did you find the Tamron 150-600?

ooooh.....best I don't go to any airshows on the continent then, you've seen how people will travel hundreds of miles and pay good money......just to stand in front of me and my lens !

Thanks Maisie - the light in the last one is a reminder that airshows finish too early in the UK! (Except OW of course). I am gradually getting there (I think) with the 'Bigron'. Quite a jump up from a 100-400mm and I'm still on the learning curve! Focusing needed micro adjusting and is generally Ok but it has given up trying on a few occasions. Now the season is over will be getting in touch with Tamron to see if there really is a fix for this or not. The 'Vibration Control' is great but must definitely be switched off for panning!
