Hi
This was a show I went to approximately 95 miles south of Calais at d'Albert- Picardi airfield.
Only ten Euros to get in and apart from a coffee that is all I spent in France.
The show itself was well supported by the French Air Force with a strong contingent from Belgium. |There was meant to have been three Belgium Air Force Force F16 aircraft flyby and a display but that did not happen.
There was an RAF Typhoon on static.
The only fly in the ointment was that the crowd line was sun facing which made photography awkward. However as the flying started at 12.30pm, picture taking became easier with the light improving to the left as as the sun moved further right.
The French are very patriotic and the people were clapping on every turn of the Patrouille de France and their other flying displays.
Together with the relative high level of French military engagement at most of their medium sized shows, this was greatly appreciated by the people with almost unstoppable gratitude.
The show ended at about 6pm.

Lovely images from what looks like a great show. Were the static display aircraft not fenced off?
