Scampton 2017 - From the "Other" Side

Evening all,

Back in September I volunteered for the Scampton show and formed part of the Media Liaison Group as an Aviation Photographer.

I had the privelage of spending the show with a superb bunch of people in the MLG and I made friends which I'm sure will be lifelong. I also got a valuable insight into running a show which I lacked and it's given me a new perspective on how unrealistic some individuals demands or wishes for airshows really are.

Instead of posting loads of photos, I've posted some of my favourites from the weekend.

I'm gutted Scampton hasn't come back and I'm seriously considering volunteering for RIAT, it's such fun.

Anyway I'll shut up now!

Gizmo is the callsign/nickname of the Belgian F-16 Display pilot who ended his stint at the end of last year. Everyone called him that rather than his real name
