NAF El Centro - Wings over the desert

Last month I had the opportunity to visit NAF El Centro Airshow - Wings over the desert. Although it was a small event with a small static and only four hours of flying the US Navy Blue Angles use El Centro for winter training. The six blue and yellow F-18C/D Hornets, soon to be replaced by the new Super Bug, also flew their very first demonstration of the 2019 season from here. Ofcourse the team also brought Fat Albert with 'em and some nice warbirds flew as well underneath a clear blue Californian sky, making it an awesome day.
