Arromanches-les-Bains 2019

To conclude the pictures of our visit to the Normandy area, here's a final set (for the others: part 1 and part 2). We had a holiday house right at the beach near Arromanches-les-Bains where a lot of small events were held, including a small airshow with the Patrouille de France and a very nice SAR demo. The other pictures in this topic are from other, sometimes unexpected, visitors during our stay. You had to keep your camera always with you no to miss anything .

And as an extra: the newly inaugurated 'Belgian Overlord Wings' monument in the village of Crépon. The monument is dedicated to the men which served in 3 of the 'Belgian' RAF Squadrons (349, 350 and 609), hence 2 Spirfires and a Typhoon, and is situated near the original location of the Advanced Landing Ground B2.
