Duxford BoB - Saturday

Post by Blackbird »

A thoroughly enjoyable day in bright, sunny weather and a show that put this year's indifferent Legends to shame! From a photography perspective, this was a bit of a learning curve: it was my first outing using RAW, and my first efforts using Lightroom.

This is the first Vultee Valiant that I've seen in the air, and certainly enjoyed it!

It was also the first time I've seen a Yale in the air.

I finally got to see the DH9 in the air too!

One final thought. It would have been great for the Flightline walk to reopen after the show when the light was so very much better than during the morning. Any thoughts on whether the IWM might consider this?

I would be grateful for C&C particularly on my first efforts using Lightroom, and there are more here should anyone be interested:https://www.flickr.com/photos/148629640@N02/with/48789062012/

A big thank you to Paul for his company at the show - thanks for looking!

Andy

Nice shots Andy - like the camo Lysander shot with the sunburst.

Great shots mate :-)

Judging by the P-47 pic, I must have been behind you!

Opening the flight-line at the end of the day is a great idea, it might help with traffic. It took me 45 minutes to get out of the car park.

Some lovely shots there Andrew!

Looks like you’re doing fine with Lightroom.

It was good to see you there too
