Two French Air Force Rafale collide at Cognac Airshow

Post by jasonT1981 »

Looks like the two Rafale aircraft collided today during an airshow. Both managed to land safely and no serious injuries to the pilots. The falling debris damaged a house in Gensac-la-Pallue, however, no one on the ground was injured

Kudos for Rafale capability to sustain such damage and still be able to bring back the pilots safely.

Albeit by someone who has no concept of what a tiger looks like, or a paintbrush probably.

It seems that the Tiger Meet jury had a different opinion.
EC3/30 got the Best Tiger Aircraft trophy (along with Best Uniform & Silver Tiger trophies): 3 out of 5 !

Most of the competition were equally awful this year, so 3 out of 5 was probably the winning score.
