Topic of the Week #29 - 1 jet fighter / 5 operators

Post by Bernard »

It's all in the title: A jet fighter in the liveries of 5 different operators. The type of fighter is wide (Mirage III, Mirage V, Mirage 50, Kfir, ... are all one type) and the different operators can belong to the same country (US Navy, USAF, USMC are different operators) and can be civilian (Martin-Baker or Draken, for example).
To make matters worse, the F-16 is excluded.

How broad can we be with “fighter” ie fighter-reconnaissance variants, or ground attack machines?

Suspect you might have to lower it to four (or include the F-16)

It is indeed a fighter in the broadest sense. If you take, let's say, the Phantom, that includes all the sub-variants. Even the Harrier can be considered a fighter.

Well, that's a tricky one. I have few "fours" but 5 is a hard one ;)
I'll go with Mig-21 family:

2. Ukraine

3. Czechoslovakia

Well, I must admit that the subject of this competition was a difficult one.
Every participant deserves kudos for digging into their archives.
Of course, I hesitated, but in the end, I chose shorsley's F-18s.
Sarah, it's up to you to start the next topic.

Thanks Bernard.

I'll have a think and post, hopefully an easier, new theme later today.
