What a weekend it was!
I was based at Totterdown for the weekend but went into the show on Friday and PnV on Monday.
It was fantastic to see the arrivals after the flying display on Friday...

I don't fare too well in hot weather so I was glad I'd chosen to stay at Totterdown for the main show days. There was a definite attraction to having a chilled out couple of days in the shade and watching the displays from a different angle...

We had some lovely light at the end of the day. Would be good to see some re-ordering of the schedule next year to take advantage of this.

On Sunday the light wasn't quite so good for some of the day, but we still enjoyed some fantastic displays...

Monday was my first visit to Park and View East, rather than West. I hung back from the scrums at the fence-line and tried to capture the essence of what RIAT is all about...

I lasted until lunchtime and then my air conditioning called!
Overall it was a sensational weekend with some amazing aircraft on display. It was a particular treat to see some of the static stars arrive on the Friday. Can't wait for next year!
Apologies for the large number of photos. There's even more on my Flickr site!

Awesome set, Peter. Every time I see shots from Totterdown, I think that I should give it a go!
Re: Four days in and around RIAT 2022
Some of the best shots of the event I have seen so far - thank you! Love the different angles from that viewpoint.

Nice set Peter, thank you for sharing.

An outstanding set of images from what appears to have been a fantastic event. I think you have achieved your goal with the wide shot of the E4. Nice work!

As others have said, a really great set of photographs. I love the touchdown shot of the E-4.

Re: Four days in and around RIAT 2022
These are some of the best I've seen so far of RIAT 2022... opening Italian Typhoon pic is a classic. I had the bad luck to bump into the few unfriendly and thoughtless people at Totterdown a fews ago so now do the thing conventionally and enjoy the static if I can get in early enough. I don't take photos anymore... why bother? Everybody's here are fantastic and mine would add zilch. One less thing to carry.
Re: Four days in and around RIAT 2022
Thank for the comments everyone.
Totterdown can be awkward at times for photography and there are always some, erm, 'interesting' characters around, but when it's good, it's really good!

The E-4B departure picture is definitely my favourite. Great set.
