Brunei 747-8 overhead Laindon (Sunday)

Post by FGR2 »

At 8:30am last Sunday, the Sultan of Brunei’s 747 repositioned from Stansted to Gatwick. Just a short flight, I managed to catch it going overhead at just over 7,000 feet near Ford Dunton.

Looked rather smart in the early morning light, you can only guess at what it looks like inside!

Is it known when this will leave Gatwick?

I don’t know I’m afraid, it was only the heads up here (and that southbound Stansted traffic goes pretty much over my place) that I managed to catch it.

And what a catch it was too for you - I think 747s look smart in these simple, business-jet schemes.

Having repositioned from Gatwick to Heathrow yesterday, it has since departed Eastbound.
