gorgeous Rich one and all. No snow on the ground bu the back drop and types more than made up for things. F-5s are stunning. Let`s hope the Swiss take their time tranistioning to the Gripen. Glad you enjoyed a good week.

Lovely set of shots there. The 121.5 frequency is the guard channel and has been used for direction finding but mainly as an emergency distress channel. I'd be interested to know why both the Austrians and Swiss are displaying it during this operation.

121.5 MHz is an international distress frequency ; each plane been intercepted should monitor that frequency :music:

Very crisp shots. We don't get these clear skies up north.
Light on Thursday looks perfect, good selection. Hope it takes the Swedes a long time to build the Gripens.

And... you made it to the local paper, may we now adress you with ....?

We had a good time at Zeltweg and scored 10 Eurofighters and two 105s in very good weather.
We even had a few patches of snow on the ground to make it real :icecream:
See Werner's pictures on the forum we met him last Fri.

Regards,
Rob
