Farewell Ripple Lynx!
It's sad news but on the 28th March ZD560 flew it's last ETPS sortie and has been retired...lets just hope it isn't broken up like the others. I thought we could all post our pictures of her as a final send off!

My Flickr seems to be working in the office at least. Will be sorry to see this lovely machine go...

Do you want the Aladeen news or the Aladeen news?
Re: Farewell Ripple Lynx!
Sad to see her go. As you say, I hope she's not broken up but goes to a good home.

Glad I managed to catch her for the first time on Deptford last month.
Re: Farewell Ripple Lynx!
What John said above, this took me by suprise! So glad I caught it recently. One of the best looking Choppers to catch on the Plains.

Sad news,I think this Lynx has been at Boscombe from new since the mid 1980s. I remember photographing it for the first time at the 1989 RIAT show when it was in the static along with several other tasty machines from Boscombe.A possible candidate for the helicopter museum at Weston-on-the-mud?

Another nail in the coffin of raspberry ripple? Great looking helicopter, nice pics.
Re: Farewell Ripple Lynx!
That really is crap news. Surely Weston or Cosford would be fitting homes for her?... (nice pics tho!)
You caaan't trust the system... Maaan!

A shot from the first summer Northolt Photoshoot that I attended. I believe this was the first of the ongoing Northolt Photoshoots. Phil and the team at Northolt were always trying to get the rare interesting and unusual.
Sorry about not posting the original, but a bad PC means home network is not up and the laptop is king. This is not a deliberate views trawl!
