Swiss Air Force @ Patrouille des Glaciers 2012

Post by FE-CF »

The Patrouille des Glaciers took place from April 25 to 28 in the Swiss Alps in Valais. As every two years the Swiss Army organizes this International Mountainering Race, probably the thoughest in the world. This is one of the largest and most complex real mission of the Swiss Army and the bigest Swiss Air Force's air transport exercise. This edition was marked by bad weather conditions with snow storm the first weeks of sling operations and a snow-eater storm (+ 80 kt.) during races.

I hope you will enjoy this set.

Love the last one fantastic shot!

The P/P on some looks a little strange though.. Looks like you might have used a bit to much fill light and clarity?
But thats just my opinion others will probably disagree  haha

Anyways well done great shots!

Thx. Yep ! Agreed. That was the first time I was using my brand new D800 (with 600mm + no pod) on field. :hypno:
