Chateaudun visit

Post by targeta »

I first went to Chateaudun in 1975 to drive around the outside. Ever since then and similar visits over the years I have wondered what was in the hangars and out of sight. Earlier this year I got the chance to spend two days on base and get inside these hangars, the largest at Poulmic site held 111 aircraft and is the largest storage hangar in Europe.
My resulting article is in this months Aviation News magazine, here are some of the images I took.
Cheers
Phil

That's a bit of an exclusive Phil. I don't often buy magazines but I will this time, looks like it could be an interesting read.
