USAF C40B 'Sam 950' in for a quick g&g. Managed to get 'air-side' for this one.

Valour 51 in for some crew training.
Convoy 4901 returning with computer problem, ( still here in the hanger).
After 3pm Sunday, light really fading.
Convoy in @ 1425 Monday from Sigonella to pick up the passengers for the C40A.
The sun was 'bouncing off' the C9 as it crossed the R13 threshold.
Mind you, rather get it with the buckets & spray

USAF C32B 'Turf 70'
Hi, they arrived from the west on Friday at 2210, basked in the Autumn sunshine during Saturday and then departed south at 2200. Arrived back in the pouring rain on Sunday 1410. They were due out at 1300 Monday - beautiful day - but Hurricane Sandy resulted in delaying until Tuesday. Didn't go down for it.
Tucked away in the corner of apron H and can't read the serial.

XR808 'Ascot 2204' came all the way up from Brize for one rather high overshoot and then headed to Copenhagen (Saturday Midday
). Original plan was here for 30 minutes.Overshooting R13.
C21A Valour 54 here for some crew training.
Then went tech. and stayed for two days - brought another two C21As up with spares etc.
