Hi Mate,

Great shots as always.
I wouldn't bother posting Warton pictures on here anymore, they either get slated or a lack of comments.
See you soon at Warton mate.

 Given the weather conditions, you seem to have coped very well, those Cobham aircraft looked to be well 'tooled up'. Thank you.

Christian, every set of Warton shots in recent weeks has been replied to and there is no sign of any 'slating' of people who snap at Warton. It's Christmas time, not everyone is looking at the board, so its slower than normal.

Brian, an interesting set in some challenging conditions but you have captured single and twin-stick jets with Damocles pods. Please keep posting, its good to see what's going on there.

What, are we supposed to comment on every picture we bother to look at. Do you only post pics to have your ego massaged?
"Nice pics mate" comments only! No criticism please.

Think its more to do with the community spirit that seems to have vanished from UKAR only to be replaced with lots of sniping and bitching to be fair..

As said elsewhere Brian, cracking set of shots and a pleasure to have yours and everyone else's company on the day. Its an amazing bunch of people we have up at the fence!!

Brian, apologies that your post has become a discussion point for what seems to be an incessant problem.

Agreed that some of the 'community spirit' has gone but a lot of it has been replaced by sniping and bitching from people who expect their photos to be replied to, throwing a wobbly when they get X amount of views and Y number of replies. It's something we all need to work on.

A good day for the boys then Brian. Interesting to see the GR.4 in four tank fit, did he come back later in the day?

Tony - unless my eyes are playing up I can only see a pod on 'AX' not the singles.

Cheers all, Tom

Apologies too Bri.. Its not really surprising that people who get no response to their photographic efforts assume there's no interest and stop posting though, is it?

You're right Tom, I must have been looking at AX thinking it was a single for some reason! Those Typhoon sleek angles!

Cheers for posting those, esp the Tornado with a 4 tank fit. What's the reason for those apart from wanting to fly an awful long way?

I think the Tornado Gr.4 arrived back quite late, think he was out for over Four Hours.

Ok fair enough I may have been a bit harsh saying not to post on here but I am only speaking from what I have seen in the last coming months.
Most photographers at Warton always used to post on here but there has been a massive decline due to lack of comments and lack of interest.
I understand people cannot comment on every post but a bit of interest within the UKAR Community wouldn't go a miss.

Brian, Mark and all the locals at Warton, have a good Xmas and New Year and see you at the fence next year.

To be fair most photos from Warton look horrible, (not technically) although this is not the best set of photographs ive seen, but Warton is cluttered with horrendous background clutter

Who wants to look at an housing estate and all the other stuff in and around the place

One chap on here threw his toys out the pram on FC and he's still moaning on here, there must be something in the water up there

I dont think BAe were worried about the background clutter dodger when they took over the site , it would be quiet a challenge to any photographer
not to get any background clutter in any of their shots , beggars cant be choosers with regards to locations , is it any wonder when people like you are leaving negative comments about stuff we have no control over are not posting anymore , slate my pics all you want its a free world , but not the backgrounds :dummy: :dummy: :dummy:

Its just lazy, whats wrong with going the other side (Bush Lane etc) and dont tell me its because your facing the sun, i dont think ive seen a set from Warton without it being dull cloudy and dark

The bottom line i was getting at, theres no creativity in any photos from Warton same old angles with the same old background

Not sure what your reference to BAE was about im talking about photographers and photographs !!

Every pic taken from Conningsby , Valley , Lakenheath etc all ave the same background because people stand in the same locations as do we at Warton
so your argument has no point to it apart from the fact you obviously dont like Warton for some reason . My bottom line to you dodger if you dont like Warton pics then dont look at them that way we dont have to respond to your useless comments :dummy: :dummy: :handbag: :handbag:

Just as long as the comments are slaps on the back and positive you mean

Ive offered a point of view and one opinion why you lads from Warton maybe dont get alot of feed back

Ive nothing against Warton (never been there) but the photos do always seem very samey with no variety, ok thats not you fault and not alot you can do about it

But if 3 or 4 members post the same kind of photos from the same spot, theres not alot for us other members to say or comment on really

You mentioned Lakenheath so i will use that base, Lets take an ordinary flying day on Runway 24, more often than not you will have 3 or 4 different photographers posting threads from 3 or 4 different locations, the same can be said from Coningsby and Mildenhall

But more often than not all we ever see from Warton is the same old location, again i appreciate thats not your fault but thats maybe why you lads dont get many comments

Hope that doesnt come across as a "useless comment"

Well, I liked them. Part of the reason that I like this site so much is ti giives me a chance to see pictures from places I probably won't ever get to.

Thanks for sharing.
