Hi gents,
here is a selection of my shots from Alpnach in Switzerland and the nearby Swiss Alps, when I was fortunate to be embedded with them 3 days. We had excellent photo-platforms ( CH-53 & Bo-105 ) and a big "Thank You" must go to everyone involved within the German Army Public Affairs. And all the crews and ground crews that worked hard to make this shooting happen....as we flew daily mostly twice in the nearby Swiss Alps.
Using the CH-53 and the Bo-105 for our aerial-stuff.....and luckily we had the Bo-105 with us, as its the right platform flying with an open slide-door.
The German "Heersflieger" conducting regular mountain-flying training in Switzerland since 2003, generally with a two-week course taking place between October - May each year.
During my flights we had everything from sun till heavy snowfall too, and my deepest respect to those aircrews, which managed to fly us safetly around the Swiss Alps!
Ok enough for now, let tell the pictures the rest of the story...... hope you enjoy them once again, and comments & critiques are more as welcome
Cheers
Mick
