Home of the Helicopter 16th december 2014

Post by RichPittman »

Westland's factory Today very busy before the xmas break
Again more testing with the 7D this time with the 400.. F5.6

I took 40-50 photos of wildcat zz401 and they were all blurred/fuzzy

So I notched up the lens by plus 5 in the camera and results were better but still not convincing until I accidentally left the lens on f5.6.
With the shutter speed higher the results were much better so I am wondering if I was just trying to push the limit with 20/250th second with a 400 mm lens

Nice work

It's surprising how unforgiving the 7D is with those tiny pixels when you view them at 100%
