2015-02-07 Low flying helicopters in the Netherlands

Post by Joan le Poole »

Yesterday I visited one of the low flying areas in the Netherlands. This one is situated near Eindhoven AB in the southern part of the country.
We had just two helicopters visiting the area that day: an Apache and a Chinook. Luckily there was some snow left in the morning!
For now just two pictures:

1. RNLAF AH64D Apache (Q-24) performing a white-out

2. RNLAF CH47D Chinook (D-665) in a very close turn around the photographers

Cheers,

Joan

Both great, love that Chinook though.

I agree with the above. The Chinook shot is immense!

Thanks guys! 70mm was way to much for that Chinook to fit in the frame, it was a true smile-on-the-face moment
