My first Brize Norton

Post by Wissam24 »

So I made it to Brize in the end, and I had a great day, getting to see all of the RAF's heavy types in the air - including both A400Ms! A great day out, although the weather could've been better, but great thanks to Paul and Nick for showing me the ropes and providing good company.

Great selection there especially the A400M! I was never lucky with Brize, always managed to go on a quiet day, the worst one was being there 6 hours and only seeing 1 Tri-Star come in!

Ouch, that doesn't sound fun. Yeah I was very pleased with my days catch. There was a Canadian Polaris we could see that we had hoped would depart that day but it wasn't to be.

I see HA-ACO has a different rudder, I have also jumped from it!

That Dornier usually spends its time kicking people out the back at Hibaldstow if I'm not mistaken? Nice catches on the A400, nice piece of kit!
