F-15C Eagles of the 144 FW

Post by rf104g »

Hi

During our last trip to the USA the 194th Fighter Squadron, of the California Air National Guard had a drill weekend. At 08:00 2 waves of F-15’s where scrambled with the following result.
A last minute runway change before the return left us almost empty handed for the landing.

Hello Dave

We were standing at the old Cal Fire gate at N Clovis Ave for the take off. As it was a weekend and 08:00 this was not a problem. At the Army site of the airfield there were multiple patrol cars and spotting was not possible.
in the landing whey made a quick stop at the corner of E shield and N Winery ave. this is private property and may be a problem during weekdays. Spotting N Chestnut Ave dos not seems to be a problem.

What are the serials of the eagles on the second picture? Especially interested in the 2nd and 3rd Eagle.
Starting from Issue 406 Scramble Magazine is a full colour magazine, another reason to subscribe!

Thanks Cujo, total nine different numbers on the Saturday. Good drill weekend output.
