Another serving of Turkey, anyone?

Another serving of Turkey, anyone?

Postby CH79 on Tue 19 May 2015, 7:20 pm

Hello,

Having attended my first Tiger Meet in Jagel last year, I was very excited about going for a second time. This year the event was to be held in Konya, Turkey.

Learning of the low attendance and cancellations before heading out was disappointing, however it's fair to say that the Turkish Air Force continued the high standards and traditions that enthusiasts have come to expect from NTM - my congratulations goes to the organisers for putting on a superb show in difficult times (given what's going on across the border)!

Along with the colourful parade of fighter jets one of the biggest highlights was of course seeing a pair of rare Phantoms! Enjoy...

Thanks for all the comments guys, appreciated!

Most of these were taken with my 1DMkIV and more importantly, the new 100-400MkII. It is without doubt a sharp lens across the entire range.

A few more have been added since this upload... https://www.flickr.com/photos/chris-heal/

Cheers,

I'm am saving up for the new 100-400mm to go with me 70D (can't stretch to a 1DMKIV as well), now I've seen what can be done with this lens I can't wait to get it.

Keep up the great work.
