It was really fascinating watch icer11 and 12 getting prepped for there mission but then there was a long wait till there recovery

By time they departed after 22:00 it was getting very dark!

As everyone else has commented, a wonderful set. If only I could get B-52's "human clutterless" shots like this at RIAT!

Another master-class in 'luck-making'. Superbly pre-positioned (during a 20 hour mission) to yield the excellent diverse shots in this collection. Always playing the sun/angles like a one-string fiddle!! Good job well done.
