Scone Apache visit 28 Aug 17

This was a big gamble for me, a definite maybe and could be marital suicide but I could not resist the opportunity of photographing what turned out to be a pair of Apaches' on my home turf.
By this time in the evening the sun was well over the far side of the runway and had I little choice of location, so it was fortunate that the second aircraft made a wiggle before each departure.

Scone is home to Scotland's Charity Air Ambulance, the team are in the process of putting their EC135 away, at the end of their day, while others are still working.
