I still think it's horrendously ugly, but man, those first few shots are just awesome Peter.

The Dutch are really doing a terrific job of making their F-35s seen at the moment. Proper hearts and minds stuff. Awesome shots like these are swirling around social media at the moment, images that the Dutch public (and others) can look at and say "woah, nice, that's our/their newest bit of kit, awesome" and they're doing a much better job of it than most of the other participating nations (the USAF are on the ball to a lesser extent, too. Pictures of F-35s in the Mach Loop are *the* enduring memory of their first proper deployment to the UK). It's not all about ticking boxes and hitting dates. Public perception is important, and the Dutch have grasped it well and truly with both hands.
