With so much activity, it seems this year's Iniochos INVITEX was the fullest, until the next one!

First of all, let me say that this post isn't complete yet. It misses RAF EF2000 FGR.4s and most of ITAF Tornadoes. I am still processing these photos...

Nevertheless, here is part of the footage!...

First the foreign participants:

The mighty F-15E Strike Eagle of 492ndFS "Bolars" of the 48thFW from RAF Lakenheath

When you say "had to leave" I sincerely hope you were forcibly thrown-out?
If not?...then I would still be there!
Excellent set of images from a great event.

Awesome sets of pictures Savvas !

Did you have any special accreditation or just the spotter one ?
There is just one day where spotters are allowed isn't it ?

Sorry for the questions but I would like to go to the 2019 event to get the mighty F4 ;)

Thank you,
Anthony

Just the spotter accreditation. Normally there is a single Spotter (or Media) Day organized during the exercise. As time draws near more info will be available.

They have a spotters day, I'd guess that trying to take pics any other day would result in seeing the inside of a greek jail?

First of all let me say that fellows here on the forum having attended the event in the past will most certainly have more conclusive answers to your questions.

The general principle is that all applications to attend Iniochos Spotters' Day are going through exclusively through Hellenic Air Force HQ/HAF Spokesman services. This includes single spotters, magazine corespondents, aviation clubs, etc.

Most of the time, an email exchange with HAF spokesman services will answer most of the questions: spokesman@haf.gr

Another liaison may be the HAF Public relations: pubrel.hafgs@haf.gr

Right now, Air Tactics Center @ 117CW Andravida AB has its hands full with the upcoming Fighter Weapons School training routine scheduled to last until the end of November. So I suggest that as soon as mid January, an initial contact can be made.

Hoping to have given a rough outline.

We are pleased to inform you that the media day for “Iniochos 2019” has been scheduled for the 3rd of April.
If you are interested in attending as a spotter, you may do so on either the 4th or the 5th of April, but NOT on both days.

So, up to you to handel ;-)
