Some excellent atmospheric shots ... great to see the USN at Lyneham.

I'm suprised the E-2 made it out with all it's parts intact ... those props would look dandy on a RAF C-130J :grin:

Lovely snaps there, I really like the first, Greyhounds are great bits of kit, they look so wrong!! :biggrin:

Yes, the carrier likes to get rid of the C2's because of their size on the carrier deck. The E2C diverted because of fog over the carrier. :smile:

I loved living in lyneham when dad was stationed there, i remember a AC-130 coming in and having a look around it (no pics im afraid, wasnt allowed)
