A day at Davis Monthan AFB (A-10s)

Post by jalfrezi »

As I slowly trawl through my photos from my US trip I'll try and share some with you. Today's photos are from Davis Monthan, home to a number of A-10 squadrons, from both Air Combat Command and Air Force Reserve Command.

Fantastic set of images, especially the A-10s. How I miss these stunning aircraft.

I haven't checked yet, but some of these aircraft registrations seem familiar, I wonder if some are the ones based at Alconbury, Woodbridge etc. back in the day.

Anyway, loved them all, thanks for sharing.

Thanks Mark.

I'm pretty sure that when I was going through the serials some of them had been based in Europe, so they may have been ones that were based in the UK when they were A models.

Don't you think that might be a slight over-reaction? :handbag:
