Canadair CL-145 firefighting plane in Alcudia Mallorca

Post by Zoom »

Taken 2nd week of March before the lockdown; sorry trying to get to grips with posting photos; I think it was out doing some practice runs it scooped up water from the Bahia d'Alcudia then discharged it straight away. Saw it take off on the water at Port de Pollenca but didn't have a camera. It was also seen at Palma airport the same day.

That message normally means the size of the image is too large....

Also, the above links aren't working :-(

I think it was something to do with my Google photos account. I posted them on my old skool Fotothing account OK

does the file size limit still apply to photos hosted elsewhere?

It's more about the dimensions of the image - there's a limit set by UKAR - (UKAR accepts images up to a maximum of 1600px on the longest edge) - details are in the Hosting and Posting Pictures message at the top of this board....

I can see the images now.

Ok I'll try uploading bigger versions onto the hosting site; it doesn't like the 7mb originals

Memories of the Family Holidays when we went to Puerto Pollensa in the summer, I also remember there used to be the odd Puma and on one occasion a Spanish F.27?

Would really love to return there some day and see these again it would be fab!.........
