Opa Locka - this has changed a lot since my last visit in 2010. Far more fences meaning there are areas you can't get to any more. A shame but much like everywhere else I suppose.

A few holiday pics from the Caribbean and Florida
Re: A few holiday pics from the Caribbean and Florida
A great range of airlines that you've captured. Those locations are one place that I'd love to visit. Thanks for sharing.
There appears to be a lot of noise in these images. I am surprised because your camera and the ISO used should not result in so much noise.

Re: A few holiday pics from the Caribbean and Florida
Thanks for looking and commenting George.
The noise is present in quite a few of the photos for a number of reasons:
Several were taken in fading light. The photos of the FedEx planes and the Embraer were taken using ISO 5000;
In the case of the last three they were taken in fading light and from behind glass using ISO500;
In almost all cases, the images have been cropped, some quite heavily - the Twotter shot springs to mind;
Finally, with better Lightroom skills, I could probably have reduced the noise somewhat without too much further image degradation.
Only a few years ago, I wouldn't have been able to take any shots that would have been vaguely worthwhile. I would add that since buying the Canon R5 and 100-500 lens combo about two months ago, I've generally been very pleased with the results. Shortcomings in the photos and/or processing are down to me!!

Re: A few holiday pics from the Caribbean and Florida
OK, thanks for the explanation. If you pushed up the exposure when you were processing them, it would also contribute to some of the visible noise.
Download a trial version (31 days) of DxO PureRAW and see how that reduces the noise in your images. I downloaded a copy and and found that it was an excellent programme.

Thanks George - I'll give it a try.
