As most pictures of this event are better than mine and have been posted from London, I am only posting this one which is different.
On their route over North Essex the Red Arrows adopt this formation, which looks like a missing man formation in the rear.
I found a spot where a number of locals had located themselves so thought it would be good place. The only problem was that you directly under the formations so side on shots were impossible.
After the Typhoon 70 had passed a man was heard saying to his son - you've seen the Red Arrows, we can go home now!
