Old Warden Jubilee Fly-In Friday 3 June

Post by Blackbird »

This was not going to be a major event, especially once Shuttleworth downgraded it from "an event" - and graciously refunded the money paid for tickets. However it was a good opportunity to get a much needed aviation fix and refamiliarise myself with my kit. I'd guess the airfield was at around 20% capacity and about 25 aircraft did fly in. Just a few to kick off the season:

There's usually a good Red Kite opportunity at OW.

It's that beautiful Pup again.

C&C very welcome.

An interesting collection of aircraft, most of which I have never seen. I'm also pleased to see that I'm not the only person who takes bird images at airshows.
Cheers,
