Seeing Dan's pic of Princess Elizabeth and that take off brings back a few interesting memories, espically if you were on the bank by the Land Warfare hall at Duxford on that day...

A few of mine, Janie at Elmsett to start. I've got agree this is the best looking of the current crop.

A few from Rougham.

Just a couple of weeks ago at Bentwaters. Janie and the new Marinell.

Can't give you registrations and the like, so it isn't comprehensive in that respect, but...

TF51D 'Miss Velma' - TFC
P51D 'Big Beautiful Doll' - Rob Davies
P51D 'Janie' - Maurice Hammond
P51D 'Marinell' - Maurice Hammond
P51D 'Miss Helen' - Robs Lamplough (may not have flown since July last year)
P51D 'Jumpin' Jacques' - Peter Teichman
P51D 'Ferocious Frankie' - OFMC

Soon to return...

P51D 'Twilight Tear' - TFC

Hasn't been seen since 2007...

P51D 'Susy' - Tony Smith

Lovely images of all the Mustangs (past & present) - shows how much JJ has changed following her 'de-blinging' two years ago!

Not a type we see too much of up here, so only have a few shots from Duxford visits and the F-15/P-51 duo at RIAT 2006. Do have a few of 'Old Crow'....does she count?

That will do just fine, thanks.

Pretty amazing really, since when I first started going to airshows back in the stone age, ie the '60's, there were none.
