LFA7 18-09-08

Post by Rick »

Got my first taste of low level at Bwlch on Thursday and couldn't have been happier. The weather was gorgeous with virtually continous sun all day and 7 Hawks and 2 Harriers passed through. Can wait til next Summer.

Some super shots there Rick...Looks like you were pretty high...Bwlch top ledge???
I prefer the exit to be honest mate or Cad W......!!!!
In the winter if its not too bright try Corris too....Give me a shout next time you head out...
Regards,
Neil.
1st Harrier for me...Well done mate.

Hi Neil,

You're right they are all from the top ledge at Bwlch.
I first set up much too low but one of the locals pointed me in the right direction for the top ledge and wow what a location. Even without any flying the views are breathtaking but add a few jets and a bit of sun and it makes for a cracking day.
Not sure when i can get there next, i'll have to get in the missus good book's again in the summer  .

Some nice shots you've got there and the 2nd Harrier is the pick for me.

I know it's got bits missing but the first Hawk with the vapour off the wing and the panning, just looks fast
