WAC @ Silverstone.Updated with a few pics from Saturday.
Popped up to Silverstone for a few hours this afternoon to take a look at the World Aerobatic Championships (WAC)
It was blowing an absolute gale so I was suprised to see any flying at all.
Will be going again on Saturday for the finals and airshow...
A few pics..
Going through the display..
Cheers for looking...

Only "80s kids" will get my reference...
Look, you can't help when you're born!
Just to expand a little on my first comment - really pleased to see photos from today's WAC action. Thanks very much for posting these up - look forward to tomorrow's.

Re: WAC @ Silverstone.
Good stuff Clive!
You didn't happen to get any shots of N444TM around 1115(ish) did you? Think we were the last morning flight for that aircraft as the wx closed in.

Does anyone have a list of all the participants for WAC Silverstone 2009?
Re: WAC @ Silverstone.Updated with a few pics from Saturday.
Not what the weather man had promised for Saturday, still an enjoyable day though.
Managed to salvage a few decent shots from the gloom at the end of the day..
Great display from the Swift team yet again
Cheers for looking...
