Headed up to Tynemouth for the usual Reds display for the Great North Run. It was nice to finally see some really good weather although it wasn't all good as the display location means you are often looking into the light.

1st and 4th shots are possibly THE best Red's shots I have ever seen. Love the Contrast on the smoke in the first shot, and the 4th shot looks absaloutly stunning with each aircraft pulling vapour, perfect!

Thanks for the comments. There weren't as many shots to be had in previous years as their exit points aren't as close anymore, but at least there was a few openings.

Didn't fancy getting your shorts on and doing the Run then?

Wow! I don't normally comment on photo threads, but that first picture is absolutely stunning!! I don't think I have ever seen a better picture of the Reds.
