Hi Jonathan,
My first time over there this year and I enjoyed it. The light can be difficult to the front, but if you can keep up with the overhead action it can be rewarding. There are trees in the corner that can get in the way and obviously the fence. The fence line does dip down at one point so if you have ladders then taxi shots can be achieved. There is a no ladders rule right up by the fence and this is enforced on show days. Any ladders have to be kept back to the area of the first line of parked cars, although they were a bit more relaxed about ladder use at the fence on arrival/practice days.

It's funny how deceptive camera angles can be. That must be a very tall tree - I certainly don't remember hearing about a nine-ship CFIT!
And as the smart ship grew,
In stature, grace and hue,
In shadowy silent distance grew the iceberg too....

Try a quick 90 degree anticlockwise rotation...
