Boeing EB-707 Condor Chilean Air Force

Post by Shocman »

Hello everyone!!!
As I mentioned in another post, here's the selection of images of the Condor AEW.
These images was taken during two Bicentennial Celebrations in Chile.
This aircraft is a Boeing 707-385C (Cóndor), ex-Lan Chile (CC-CEB) traspassed to Chilean Air Force, then modified by IAI with Phalcon AEW system.

First three pictures are great! But what an ugly aircraft - I thought MY nose was bad!

Fantastic aircraft, I actually really like the nose and the slab sides! And you wouldn't have any problems reading the serial off, which is nice!

Now that's a rare beast, thanks for posting. Amazed it gets off the ground with all the extra drag.

Hi, I'm so glad that you enjoyed the images and thanks everybody for your comments.
This aircraft is really strange, in Chile is not normal to see in flight, at least in Santiago.
CH2, I agree with you this plane reminds me the Nimrod AEW 3.
PorkScratching you are all right, this plane is very impressive during take off, because appear the nose touching the runway...
